Faculty of incoming students new to UI may apply on their behalf using this application.
Awards are approximately $19, 400 in a research stipend, $10,080 tuition waiver (if applicable), payment of fall and spring fees ($2,475 per semester) and health insurance. Total: $31,430
Review Criteria
Evaluation will be based on the applicant’s potential to contribute to biomedical research, as evidenced by the student application (or faculty application on behalf of an incoming student), the applicants academic record, and past productivity, including during previous fellowships. Priority will be given to Ph.D. applicants. Based on these criteria, the BCB governing board will review applications and award INBRE and COGS fellowships.

Annual Report
Recipients of graduate fellowships are required to submit an annual report summarizing their progress on their research project in the previous year by July 1.
